Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a diligent Assembler to join their client's dynamic team in California. This role involves working with electronic materials and components, ensuring that every product meets the high standards of quality and precision required by the company.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and test all materials such as LCDs, touch screens, glass, films, and related assembly material, including electronics like A/D boards, CCFL inverters, LED drivers, power supplies, touch screen controllers, and cables. Record necessary data as per company and department policy.
  • Complete tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Operate the assembly test jig and observe the operation of LCDs, measuring clearances and contact gaps.
  • Adjust alignment of LCD and related components and brightness testers to meet job and customer specifications.
  • Utilize hand tools such as screwdrivers (manual & electrical), tweezers, and special fixtures.
  • Properly "red tag" all rejected or segregated materials using job traveler information as per company and department procedures.
  • May install hardware and insert or apply adhesives (or other chemicals) to materials prior to assembly and final testing of units.

Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, 1st shift.

Additional Details

Minimum pay for this position is $18 per hour.
